Where mangoes meet the Mediterranean

A narrow tropical stretch in Europe

Sheltered by the mountains, the Costa Tropical has a mild climate where mangoes, avocados and chirimoyas grow alongside olives and almonds, filling the valleys with a mix that is unusual in mainland Europe.

For Farm Stays, you’ll need your own car. If you’re bringing a group, we can help you explore local transfer options.

Off-grid living

What that means while you are here.

Cielo Andaluz runs entirely on solar power and manages its own water, waste and septic systems.

In this dry landscape, water is limited, so we ask guests to use it thoughtfully. Lighting, Wi-Fi and charging small devices are part of daily life, but high-consumption appliances cannot be used. Rooms have fans rather than air conditioning.

This is a working finca, with uneven ground, wildlife and farm activity that changes with the seasons. Our dog and chickens live here too. We live onsite in a separate area and continue tending the land during your stay.
